everything was alright. near enough to red rocks for a concert and at the foot of the mountains for a quick day trip to vail. we had a room near the elevator facing the front (towards Denver) and there was literally a part of the building blocking 95% of the view.

The beds are not comfy. Firm. But everything else was great. Breakfast was one of the better buffet style breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel and good options. Also a coffee bar 24/7.

Loved the location of this hotel. Breakfast was great and they kept the food supply stocked. The pool looked stagnant and an ice machine on 3rd floor was broke…. It had stuff lying all around it that needed to be removed or thrown away. Other than that, the stay was great and room was very clean.

We appreciated the location being so close to downtown Golden which was important for our vacation. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns and had much better quality in the room. Our room had carpet that smelled really bad like a wet dog. I do want to give a compliment to the good water pressure in the shower. The overall feel of the room was run down though.
