"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. "Room was clean and comfortable.. nice bed and pillows. Staff were very friendly particularly bar staff. Breakfast was good but had to wait a while for elements of the hot food to be brought out. Stayed on my own but felt comfortable and safe particularly in the night in the bar and in my room. Would definitely stay again"

"Best spa set up I've ever been to. Head space and physical space yo 'breathe'. After long days out in Buxton and stoke on trent etc. It was beautiful to come back here. Breakfast was nothing special, same as any hotel. Why are all hashbrowns cold, deep fried triangles. Great location for park district or Manchester or other town visit. If you like to take bus/ land transit to do local areas DONT do it here. Local transit is very infrequent and we waited at stop and despite flashing down the once or hour bus, it flew part us anyway. Because of this we did not look/ explore in Macclesfield so missed the silk factory stuff for to the fact that there was not good transport locally. Bus to Buxton was great fun and best way to get there and back. Beautiful scenery fat driver... but if a free roller coaster ride... hold on tight! Safe and overall great place to stay."
