"This is our 7th year renting a house on the chain and this was by far the best yet! The size of the house, proximity to the lake, and entertaining space was fantastic! The ability to rent to pontoon was a plus. The only drawbacks were lack of ladder on the pier, lack of garbage can space for a large group and the house binder/info could be more robust or manager comms better. We would stay again anytime- thanks for a great week! "

"My family has been vacationing in this Eagle River neighborhood for over 50 years. Now I'm the Grandma and I was lucky enough fo find this big, beautiful home where 4 generations of my family could spend a week at the lake together. The whole experience was just so comfortable! This house felt new and fresh, is well stocked & has everything we could dream of...gorgeous view, lovely kitchen, plenty of living area inside & out and enough sleeping space with good beds for everyone. We love quiet Dollar Lake for fishing & kayaking and the sandy shallow beach area is perfect for little swimmers. We didn't bother bringing our own boats and boards because we were able to use those at the house. Everything about vacation at this home was just so, so nice! I can't wait to go again next year. "
"Yellow Birch Lodge was terrific for our every two year family gathering. Nice lodging, wonderful location, outstanding amenities including canoes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. The owner provided exceedingly detailed instructions and information. If you go, for sure rent a pontoon boat for the duration. Near perfect, with the only issue being construction occurring next door. "

"The house was just perfect for the family. We had the best view of the lake no matter where you were in the house. The location was close enough to the store for anything we had forgotten. The fishing was good even off the pier. It was a short walk to the sandy beach which was very nice! The kids just loved the beach! The eagles were flying and it was a beautiful sight. We would stay there again! "

"Any issues we may have had were quickly fixed by the property manager, Eric. He was very accommodating every time I contacted him.Had a great time but it was too cold for us to utilize the pontoon boat. Would love to come back when it’s warmer. The campfire and the grill was a great added bonus. Would love to see what the other property looks like when they are done renovating. Can’t wait to come back again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The moment we walked into the home, we were in awe of its delightful decor and the clear attention to detail aimed at ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. I’ve stayed at many VRBOs, but none have shown this level of care.The house was immaculately clean, pet-friendly (a huge bonus for our fur babies!), and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We even discovered a whimsical touch with an Elf on the Shelf, which added to the charm!We would absolutely love to return for another stay—this time, much longer. Highly recommend!"
