So wonderful! Peaceful! Such beautiful surrounding gardens, gorgeous pool! I loved everyone of staff. Their restaurant has the BEST chefs! We stepped out of our spacious, modern, beautifully decorated room after a free shuttle ride whose driver met us inside the airport! A comfortable 15 minute ride from the airport! It is right in Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. So convenient. Clean and very comfortable. Very good & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Hard to find fault with this hotel

Safari Club was a wonderful experience for me! I traveled alone to Johannesburg and the staff were so kind and helpful! They made arrangements to pick me up from the airport and for a driver to show me around the city the next day! I would highly recommend!

As a woman traveling alone my top priority is always safety. This was my first trip to South Africa and i was a bit nervous. Arthur promptly picked me up from the airport and I felt safe. I just needed a place to get a hot shower, some good sleep, and a hot meal. It was a quick overnight stop for me in between flights. I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend, especially if you are a solo traveler with safety concerns.

Very cozy, clean, friendly staff

I wanted to share my experience at the wonderful Afrique Boutique Hotel we stayed at during the recent electricity outages. The room had a partial view of a beautiful garden where birds would come to feed and hearing them sing made our stay even more peaceful. The decor was exceptional- exquisite paintings adorned the bedrooms, lounges and restaurant, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Spent my honeymoon at the Houghton Hotel and from being greeted with a rose and complimentary glass of wine, we knew it would be a pleasant experience. From the front desk staff to the restaurant we were well taken good care of! Our room was beautiful and spacious. Delicious food and most friendly staff, we loved Sisa! This is a very nice hotel. Our travel itinerary had us flying into the Johannesburg airport late afternoon and flying out the next day, so we booked this because it looked close to the airport. It is actually attached to the airport, above the parking lot, with a fully enclosed walkway from baggage claim to the hotel. (Grab a luggage cart, it is a long walk.) The hotel is surprisingly nice! We stayed for 2 nights in the private apartment. Very comfortable and spacious. Thatched roof was unique. Property was very clean and welcoming. Staff was wonderful, we had a late check-in due to flights and they were waiting for us (I'm sure an inconvenience but they never made us feel as such) Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location was convenient and tucked away from the noise and traffic. Would recommend.
