“It was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends!”

“Overall, my son and I had a great stay! He loved having a cozy little sleep spot in the kid bunks, and I loved having a fabulous view along with not having to drag linens and towels with us. Communication with hosts was easy; we were able to add another adult to our reservation with no issues.My only real.complaint is the living room seating. The listing shows a normal comfy couch but the couch in the room wasn't a real couch. It was some kind of pull out bed that didn't even have a back and……

“Our family and another family shared this adorable space. Super convenient to Beech Mountain Sledding Hill, town, and ski resort! Kids loved the room with the bunk beds. The place was clean and comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Owners were fantastic — very communicative and accommodating to some of our requests!”

“A bit dated but perfect for our outdoor activities. 30 minutes to multiple hikes. 20 minutes to gourmet restaurants. 20 to 45 minutes to shopping a the movie theater. The best of both.”

“Property was very clean and well equipped. It was ideally located to Beech Resort and was within easy walking distance to the resort for the summer outdoor concert. I didn’t pick up in the listing that the unit is not equipped with A/C, and was a little concerned initially, but the cool evenings and the convenient window fan for our bedroom was actually quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”
