The front desk Staff went out of their way again for me!!! The front desk staffs Lisa, Thomas & Sunny are one of the most attentive & professional staffs plus not forgetting the chefs, waitress, houskeeping ladies & bellman too. The front desk staffs are helpful in arranging the transportation to the airport and well knowledge of the area including giving us advice on safety before going out. "The best hotel in Hanoi,plain and simple.But there is one thing that needs to be mentioned.On the hotel's room page it says Flexible check-in and check-out time upon availability.But don't think this is Peninsula time at the Peninsula Hotels which you can check-in as early as 8AM and check-out as late as 16PM.Since our flight to Ho Chi Minh City was very late into the night a REAL flexible check-out was very important.Because we had used Peninsula Time before, we naively thought that we could be flexible in Capella, which is known for its luxury.Turns out their check-in and check-out policies are no different from regular hotels：upon available and pay to guarantee.The hotel did offer to let us stay in the living room as long as we wanted.And the kind staffs constantly offered us free sweets and mocktails.However since we had already checked out we just didn't feel comfortable eating and drinking for free.So we just sat there for three hours with some water and final decided we just head to the airport to see if we can get on an early flight.To be clear.Normal check-in and check-out times is fine and we are totally OK with it.Just if your check-in and check-out times are no different from regular hotels, there’s no point in mention “Flexible” on the website as if it’s a selling point, right?"

We received a little honeymoon welcome gift to our room which was very special. Our room was clean and the AC was on and strong before we even stepped into the room. The breakfast is fantastic, great options and diversity in foods. Great location, near most things in the old quarter but away from the crazy Beer street noise. The rooftop infinity pool was spectacular! Our bed was definitely firm but still quite comfortable and cozy. We loved our short and sweet stay here! "

"It's literally in the middle of the town where all the action takes place. A short 5-10 minute walk to beer street if you want to party at night and right next to the shopping/main circle/waterfront area, and on the weekends less than a minute away from the night market. There is a small pool and billiards/foosball table upstairs though the room gets kind of hot at times. The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and very nice with any requests that we had. If you're closer to the ground floors you may end up hearing typical noise, bike horns, music from outside at night, but you're in Vietnam so that's pretty normal."

"My husband and I stayed in Hanoi for 9 nights in July. We were pleasantly surprised with the amazing hospitality from the front desk and concierge staff!! Everyday, no matter the time of day or night they greeted us (if not attending to other guests) and chatted with us, making us feel at home. They attended to our needs and requests with genuine care.
Our room was beautiful-the air conditioning worked beautifully (a great escape from the outside heat!), the water pressure in the shower was PERFECT, and our mattress was extremely comfortable (just like our home mattress). The turn-down gift each day was so nice (we enjoyed the cookies.)
We loved the room service/restaurant next door! The food was delicious and delivered to our room within a reasonable timeframe. We recommend the spaghetti bolognese and the Umami fried rice!!
