“Mattresses were hard. No full length couch made it difficult to get comfortable. Kitchen faucet was extremely loose. Refrigerater had a lot of rust on the outside, but was clean on the inside. Windows need replaced, as the seals in the glass are broken, making it difficult to see the ocean from inside the house. The deck was very nice. The gates on the deck made it nice for sitting ouside with our dog. Just a few steps to the beach made it nice for quickly coming and going between the beach and……

The pictures usually look better than reality, but I can honestly say the pictures don't do this home justice. “Unit is a duplex with the owner occupying the unit next door. Met the owner, who was very nice. Access to the beach was very close. Three access points within 200 feet of the driveway. Unit is on a dead end so very little traffic in the front. The main road is to the rear. Not an excessive amount of noise. Large view of the sound to the rear. Smaller view of the ocean due to the sand dune. Beaches were not crowded. Enjoyed our stay and would be happy to plan another vacation here in the future.”

“Our first year at staying at Escape II and we were very pleased with the property- plenty of space for our family- the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking-everything was clean - and the house is located in our favorite part of the island too. The views from the deck are wonderful - really some of the best we have had at any beach home and better than some oceanfront homes we have stayed in! - and we appreciated the sturdy comfortable porch rockers and umbrellas on the deck- for some family……

“This duplex was awesome! We had so much space (bigger than it looks online), extremely clean and comfortable! It was across the street from the beach access and yet you could still see & hear the ocean and it wasn’t crowded! The owner was extremely fast at replying to my silly questions and the only issue is we had to leave! We will definitely be renting this in the future!”
