A brick church with a steep roof and a tower, surrounded by a marshy landscape and a small wooden bridge.

"Had to extend my trip by a day after a hurricane back home delayed my travel. Most hotels check in isn’t until 3 PM and they charge huge fees for checking in early, but they got me into a room a whole five hours before check in with no wait and no extra fees! The room was clean, the hotel was right in the middle of everything and felt very safe and secure! 1.50 pizza across the street until 3 AM was an awesome perk. Well worth the money!"

"Great location. Everything was a walkable distance. Close transport access. Disappointed by breakfast. I bought breakfast when I booked. It was a cafe within the hotel which was nice but it wasn’t worth purchasing while booking. It was a piece of fruit, a pastry and filter coffee from an urn (doesn’t include the cafes lattes etc)"

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS

8/10 Good
"For the most part, it was an excellent stay. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. They came by at 10 and if we weren’t already out if the room, they didn’t come back. On my last night there, I stopped by the front desk and asked for a late checkout, and she told me 12:00, which was perfect. I watched her put it in the system. However, housekeeping didn’t get the memo because they came 3 separate times, 2 of those times were less than 5 minutes apart. It was irritating and inconvenient for me to have to not only keep answering the door, but repeatedly having to explain that the front desk approved the late checkout. How difficult would it have been for the first person to check the system?"

"Budget friendly hotel in Upper West Side. It’s a no frills hotel and is dated, but it was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very kind. We were visiting family and just needed a place to sleep, so it was perfect."

"Brent is the MAN. He made our stay so wonderful. The check in was fast and easy. Room is obviously pretty small but it’s NYC. It was to be expected."
