"I was met by the owner Passi who was waiting for me. I had booked into one of the apartments but wes told that I was staying in one of the cottages by the lake. Passi took me to the cottage which has its own wood burning sauna and stunning views looking out to Lake Orivesi. It was really peaceful and it has its own private beach and a rowing boat plus a swing which I must admit I spent quite a bit of time on there. "Great location in central Helsinki right next to the train station which was perfect for my trip. Restaurant was a bit expensive and I do wish breakfast was an amenity - I went elsewhere each morning. Another downfall was being charged 30 euros for checking in early. After traveling for 20 hours I just needed to lie down and take a shower. I arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the published check in time and even though my room was ready you still get charged. I’ve never had that happen before"
