central downtown location . the sofia hotel cost less that most downtown hotels . older , historic hotel but very clean rooms and entry . the gym was nice but very hot ….. the room was small and you could not open any windows so we had to rely on air conditioning the whole stay which was a bit noisy .

Rooms are hot. Only a small free standing household air conditioner. Otherwise the stay was enjoyable. It is an old building but beautifully kept. Favorites place was back balcony for morning coffee. The breeze that runs between the buildings is wonderful.
