“Great little lodge with everything we need.”

“Loved that this cozy cabin was located within Yosemite NP. Everything we needed was there to make our stay comfortable. Located off the beaten path so suggest finding your way there before dark!”

“We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!”

“We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.”

“This was the perfect little cabin to stay in during our visit to Yosemite National Park. It was convenient that it was inside the park and we did not have to make driving reservations. It was a great place to come back to and relax after a long day on the trails!”

“The pictures definitely do not do this place justice. So wonderfully decorated for the holidays with tons of lights and bears and cute decorations and details everywhere. The home had all the necessities and was very clean and spacious. From the deck we had a nice view of the lake (though it is very low at the moment) and the neighborhood around the home was adorable and super walk-able. We loved the fireplace and cozy living room. “This cabin was perfect for our family of 3 (couple with college-age son). The cabin was so clean and well organized. Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. We especially loved the wrap around deck and the grill. We did most of our meals out there. Our son was very comfortable on the futon bed. The main bedroom is small, it was a bit hard to get in and out of the bed, but that is the only complaint. We loved being away from the crowds in the valley and having peace and quiet. We would……

“We had a good visit- the house was well stocked with towels, blankets, kitchen tools, etc. We never figured out the drip coffee maker, but the keurig filled in and was well stocked. Washer and dryer were also handy. It was great to have a large dining room table we could all eat at comfortably.”

“My daughter and I stayed there and loved it! We can't wait to return, perhaps this Autumn. It was a joy to experience the beauty of Yosemite and to leave the crowds behind at the end of the day and return to this charming cabin. The peace and quiet there were wonderful. It was comfortable and well stocked with cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. Our overall experience was a 10!”

“This was a lovely secluded property that allowed us to take our dog for a few days in the mountains. It was only 10 minutes into downtown Mariposa, and an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite depending on which entrance you take: Arch Entry 1 hour, South/Mariposa Grove 1 1/2. We loved the secludedness. And appreciated the cleanliness, kitchen amenities (including the Mariposa Coffee which is just down the street for visitors), and updated aspects of the property. “My friends and I weren't able to book two consecutive nights in Yosemite, so we booked a one night stay at this property for our last night on the trip. It was very comfortable, warm, and quiet after a long day of hiking in the rain and cold. It's about an hour drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Clean, straightforward check in and check out, and the hosts were communicative, although we didn't require any assistance during our stay.”

“My husband and I and two adult kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Home is lovely and clean, with beautiful view of wooded lot and river. Another huge benefit is that it's within Yosemite National Park boundaries so we didn't need a Park permit to go to Yosemite. It was wonderful to return here after a day of hiking. “My little family and I stayed at this cabin during Easter weekend. We were greeted with a somewhat unexpected snowstorm the first night but it absolutely made this trip even better! The neighborhood had the roads plowed by 6 am and the driveways were being worked as well. Our driveway was cleared by 7:30. The cabin was perfect and we had the best time. The cabin was clean, well stocked with the necessities, the layout was perfect, just all around a perfect cozy cabin. We enjoyed a nice warm fire……

“no other visitors checkin that day but expedia said it's full and can't change the room with heater. When I check in, nobody at office and need to go next door Cedar Lodge, also Cedar Lodge have no idea if there are other empty rooms for change. ”
