"Staff and food"

"We had a great hotel experience at Tru Hilton. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful everytime we needed something. The lobby was nice with plenty of seating, games and a pool table. They had coffee and tea ready 24/7. Our room offered a great view of the city. The beds were very comfy and we slept great! The Monkey bar on the 9th floor has delicious drinks, a small food menu and friendly staff. The bar had a ton of rooftop seating and the cityview at night was beautiful!"

"The room was very comfortable and clean! I also really enjoyed that they have a pool table in the lobby and a great view from the rooftop! I also had a nicely made latte from the lobby bar. Oh! & parking is free! "

"This was such a lovely hotel! So close to a lot of things walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside was no onsite parking but there are parking garages nearby "

"Great hotel! No people at check in or concierge, but very clear instructions provided so no issues. Loved being on 49th floor. Very well located and room had everything we needed. Would stay again."

"Staff was very kind. Upon initial check in, I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. I went down again and was granted a room request on the 1st floor after discovering how slow the elevator ran. Overall, it’s an old property and it shows. There was mildew in the base of the shower and a cockroach in the bathroom. Snack area was very poorly stocked. Thankfully, we were in the room a very short time; bed was comfy and AC worked well. "
