Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. Yes you can still find glass here, but you have to look for it, and most of colored glass is long gone. It all makes for a fun little treasure hunt however! The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The attention and service as excellent. We stayed in the cottage and the room itself was nice, small but big enough for two people. The bed was not very comfortable, it was almost too hard and it moves ALOT. You feel every movement your partner makes during the night. Breakfasts are fantastic! Richard, Nancy and Barbara are all lovely people, and the place feels like home. The owners were just great! The location couldn't be better located, we walked to everything and only drove to go on big hikes. Having a homemade breakfast was also a big plus and it was very good with fresh fruit, juices, coffee and always you could choose the main big breakfast. Our room & bathroom was a bit small but I think you could get a bigger one if requested.
