Being on the backside of Shepard Mountain it’s super quiet and separated from the world… but town is only a few minutes away around on the other side of the base of the mountain. It had everything you would want in an experience if you were camping, like a fire pit, endless stars, and all the quiet of being remote in the forest alone…. “This place is such a hidden gem. I was astounded at how well maintained the property was given its size. Absolutely beautiful! It was like stepping back in time to the summer camp in Dirty Dancing! The other side of our cabin was also rented out, but insulation was great, we couldn't even hear the other guests. Everything was cute and comfy and immaculately clean. It stormed (really bad) 2 of our nights and we just sat on the front porch watching, so relaxing. I cannot wait to come back here……
