“If you are looking for a quiet getaway in an upper scale home with no kids, this is not the place for you. But we were looking for A family friendly place where we felt at home. This was the place. It had arcade games for the kids and they were throwing a football around in the yard and doing kid things. They had games and puzzles and things for kids to do. “Our family of 8 stayed over the weekend at this property. The house is bigger than it looks. There is many different spaces in this home. Not everything is perfect but that is the charm of this old farm house. If you plan to use the yard make sure that it is taken care of before you stay at the property. There are several great places to go less than 20 mins away. We enjoyed the say and this a great place for a large group.”

“Easy access to the property, right on the water. Cottage was clean and safe, the listing was accurate. Grant was an intentive, helpful and a gracious host. Kayaking was just a few steps away. We would definitely go back!”

“Not a new home but perfect for two couples. Provided privacy for both. Two full bathrooms with showers. Very clean. Also used the large washer and dryer. Kitchen well equipped although we only ate breakfast and carry-in pizza at the house. Parking for two vehicles. Small garage but our van fit inside just fine. So much better than a hotel. ”

“Firstly the host made this stay a breeze! Host communicated with me for the booking process, gave plenty of information regarding the area and the house, and had the listing for a fair price. Selection of games was great especially for our group (we play a lot of board and card games), the TV in the living room was quality, the entire house was spotless when we arrived. “We enjoyed the quick walk to Brady Street where you can finds all kind of fun!!! The host's communication was excellent and check in/out was easy. We especially appreciated that the check out list wasn't a mile long - we weren't asked to do laundry and all kinds of other tasks, we cleaned out the fridge, loaded the dishwasher and were on our way! LOVELY outdoor working space with plenty of room for our group of 8.”

“The house was extremely close to the water and the beach area was great! Easy to get around town and locate restaurants and stores. Only issue we had was there were so many spiders outside, we could not enjoy the patio/deck. We thought about having a fire but the spiders were everywhere. I personally don’t know the city of Racine but the road the house is on is noisy. Lots of cars and dogs barking through the night. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs! ”
