“We stayed in a very small room with a double bed, and it was perfect! Price was very reasonable and staff was tremendous! Beautiful patio area overlooking the Rock River where we enjoyed morning coffee and watched the eagles overhead, friendly guests that chatted with us. All in all, a GREAT place to stay!”

“Needs updating. The rooms rug was torn, couldn’t use the TV. Couldn’t even watch the morning news. The air conditioner was loud and couldn’t find a switch or way to turn on lights by the nightstand.”

“Definitely rustic. Cozy cabin that was outdated, but generally clean. If you’re looking for an outdoor experience, this is a good place. Two issues stand out for us: 1) the “queen” bed was horrible. It seemed it was for Lilliputians. My wife and I are practically beat each other all night. All things considered, sleeping should be comfortable. For this reason alone we would not sleep here again. 2) the air conditioning vent blew right on us. It was either hot or freezing. Nice park to...

“We loved the design of the home itself as well as the view of the river right out the backyard. The fenced in yard proved perfect for our dogs, maybe the best rental setup we had as far as convenience for them. We could just let them outdoors by themselves with no problem. I really enjoyed being able to observe life on the river too. Nice place, especially for the price! Good bang for your buck.”

“I took my twins here for their tenth birthday for some father son time and they loved it. They wanted to move there. The cabin is very cozy and the host were wonderful. We hung out around the fire pit a lot. We went fishing at Lake Le-Aqua-Na, and just drove around in the country. My twins want to visit there again, i think booking in the Fall would be great . I highly recommend if you are looking for a chill and cozy get a way .”

“We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful penthouse in downtown Monroe! The location is perfect, with easy access to shopping and dining. The space itself was incredibly clean, updated, and thoughtfully designed—every detail contributed to a comfortable and relaxing experience. The arcade game was a fun bonus and a great touch! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“This is such a great place! It was perfect for our family of 4. Our 14 and 12 year old loved the loft space, and my husband and I were super comfy in the bedroom. The lower level was great for family time in the evening, and where we all hung out at the end of the day. The property surrounding was so peaceful and helped us feel completely relaxed. We have land at Lake Carroll, and this was an easy 20 minute drive. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back!”
