“First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand. The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. “We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.”

“What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. "Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
