"We went for a last minute get away and the lodge was amazing. We paid for our hot tub to be heated up which was a really good option. The host is so nice and it was lovely to have all the chickens, ducks and pigs just across from the lodge. Having the outdoor cooking option was great!"

"Perfect weekend away for me and my partner. Everything was perfectly clean when we got there, easy to figure out how to get in, heating and all the kitchen stuff. Had a great time meeting the two residential pigs, Polly and Sally, and all the birds! Amazing time couldn’t have been better!"

"Good value at the price we paid for two nights. It is hard to fault any aspect of our stay but why would you want to. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the station and all the main attractions. Our room was quiet with the largest twin beds I've yet come across which were also very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and hot water plentiful. The breakfast buffet provided a good selection for all tastes and of good quality. The only area that could do better were the carpets in the corridor which could do with a good clean. The plus side was that there was no noise from luggage being wheeled along and soft close doors meant there were no banging doors. All in all a very comfortable stay."
