"After we were finally able to get checked in, the stay was fine. After driving 6 hours, we arrived at 3 PM (posted check-in time) to an empty counter and lobby. After several minutes, a gentleman from maintenance happened along, and called the young lady who was supposed to be at the desk. It was a good half hour before we were fully checked in and headed for our room. I came back down shortly after to buy some drinks from the counter and went through the same routine again where a different maintenance person had to call her. She was very nice and polite, and I don’t know if it was a matter of being shorthanded and doing something elsewhere or what. I don’t recall any explanation for why we had to wait so long for her both times. This was a frustrating first hour or so, but after that all was well for the three nights we were there. Maybe Sunday is a bad day to arrive? At any rate, I wasn’t even going to mention it, but since Expedia keeps spamming me with “rate your stay” emails here we are."

"The property owner was heavily engaged in daily activities. We saw him day and night when we left the property and returned. Each time we saw him he was assisting customers, cleaning the breakfast area, stocking up the food and drink items available for purchase, sweeping, moping, ECT. When you walk around the property inside and out you quickly see how well it is maintained. When we questioned a couple employees about this young man they all said positive things about working there and for him. If we ever return to the Hershey area THIS will be where we stay!"
