"Our room was clean and up to date in appearance. For the price, it worked well for us. All said, some kleenix would make a even better experience."

"At this price range it would be hard to find a better stay in this area. The room had a mountain view and there was a nice little lounge area with a fire pit under a lovely tree. It was a great way to relax before bed. There was also a separate heating system in the bathroom which was much appreciated on a chilly morning. This is not the fanciest place one could stay in the area, but the owners have made an effort to make it welcoming. "

"We stayed here 2 nights for the fall foliage at Grandfather mountain and Linn Cove Viaduct. The breakfast was good and staffs members were nice.."

"Staff was very focused on taking care of us. The person who took care of the breakfast was particularly focused. She is the kind of team member every organization needs. I’m sure she needs money. I vote for a bonus or salary increase!"

"It was a nice place. Room was never checked on after the first night. Had to stand in line at a food truck to get coffee. Asked for more coffee for the room and was told they had the truck. Could have made coffee on our room if they would have brought some. "
