"The Good: The sheets and towels were always fresh & clean, shower & hot water good. Parking excellent. Heat & A/C unit excellent. The Bad: This place is for anyone who only needs a shower and a bed. All 4 pillows on the bed rate the worst I have ever had around the entire world. I have no sense of smell, and I could smell stuff that I could not identify. No elevator which I was told up front so you have to climb a straight set of steps. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS HOTEL COULDN'T AFFORD TO PUT OUT SOME COFFEE IN THE LOBBY OR THE "NOT USED, FORMER" BREAKFAST AREA. There is no staff other than a person sitting behind a window. The Ugly: Our room was a complete mismatch of furnishings. The entire building (including our room) is very old looking and worn out. Our bathroom door would not close and has patched holes in it. The owner need not respond to me. I think you should be ashamed at how cheap and rundown this place is. Jeffrey Lynn & Wife 04/22/2026"

"upon checking in there was a sewage odor that was outside the hotel it was there the whole stay. Hallway rugs were dirty with food and drink spilled. garbage overflowing in trash cans outside of elevators. When I entered the first room I was assigned to it had a smoke smell as if it was a smoking room, mildew smell as well. The sliding glass door lock was broken and so was the extra security bar on the door, I figured a way to get the security bar down although I still was uneasy about the situation. When I flushed the toilet it would not go down, with each time using the bathroom you had to flush 3 or more times for it to go down which was infuriating and explained why there was a cesspool/foul smell outside. When I took my first shower the water was warm at best water pressure was non existent. The following day I had to shower for a wedding I was in town for and there was no hot water at all. Ice cold. I called the front desk and they said they would have someone come fix it, I could not wait for that b/c I had a wedding to attend I went down to the front desk and asked for another room to move quickly into. They let me switch rooms but there was no apology or anything for the inconvenience. When I moved into the second room, there was the same toilet issue which seems to be an issue throughout the entire hotel which is gross. When I showered again the water was luke warm, never had hot water at all my entire stay. The breakfast area was gross."

"Room dresser drawers would not close. Had to put the luggage stand in front of it. The closet back was coming apart. The bathroom had missing trim or tile behind the toilet."

"I usually stay at double trees becauseI find they are consistent quality. This particular double tree is in need of renovations. Its nothing terrible but just many little things adding up. The flange around the shower head wasn't attached to the wall so you can see the hole where the pipe goes in. The bathroom was clearly painted over wall paper. The peep hole on the door wasn't attached right so i had to rotate it around to make sure the peep hole was covered. I was there for 3 nights and there were multiple big greasy handprints on the window in the hall by the elevator that were never cleaned. One of the elevators wasn't functioning. My husband had to call one day because the toilet wasn't functioning (it was fixed while we were out). You need to ask for someone to let you into the little convenience store area, so there isn't anything readily available to eat after the morning buffet closes. Oh and you are paying for parking in their parking garage. None of that is all that terrible but also for 200 a night I expect a little better, or at least fewer issues. The staff were nice. The bed was comfy. It was close to where I needed to be (but not right in the middle of everything). I will probably try a different hotel next time I am in the area, but wouldn't go so far as to say I would never stay there again - particularly if renovations occur."

"Gorgeous property, with excellent amenities. The restaurant on site was perfect for an evening dinner in a nice setting. Cute little market on site to grab coffees or quick bites and snacks. Pool was nice and warm, deepest point was 4 ft. so my son had a ton of fun using it and felt comfortable the entire time. Gym looked nice and there was a private movie theater with a current movie playing. Will definitely return when back in the area"
