"Great hotel"

"My room was NOT a lake view, it was a construction site view with construction starting at 7am daily- that was great to wake up to every morning… the room was also not very clean, lots of mildew/ mold in the shower tile grout lines. The stove and ice machine did not work. (Someone did come fix the stove when we called) we waited two hours for food at the Valencia our first night, so plan to order food in or eat outside of the resort. I would also suggest brining a cart to haul all your stuff from the car as this place is a MAZE! Even though it was a little outdated, I will say all the staff we came in contact with were VERY nice and I really appreciate that. "

"Clean room but they charge for daily cleaning. Most of the staff was great. Had problems with room keys not working repeatedly. The plug in receptacles in the besides lamps were worn out and did not charge our phones. We didnt notice until the next night. Had two rooms and all four lamps had the same issue. "

"Property in bad condition, AC unit makes a loud noise, rooms are not clean, worst housekeeping service, saw black flies inside the room. We switched our room after 3 days because the AC unit was making a loud noise and they did not send anyone to fix it. So we had to change the room after 3 days. Second room was ok. The only thing we like about was the breakfast and kitchen staff. I would not recommend to anyone and not going back to this hotel ever again."

"Despite the listing saying "waterpark access" we didn't realise we needed to pay $25 per person per day for access. Also, they don't clean the rooms during your stay - I've never experienced that at a hotel/resort before. You travel via shuttles around the resort because things are spread so far apart however sometimes it takes 10-20 minutes to get a shuttle. The staff often didn't seem interested at all in helping us unless it was related to some activity or service with extra cost"

"The property has terrible customer service. Made us valet park at another resort as there was no valet or self parking spots left when we arrived at 1 am. Made us walk in the dark with our luggage for a half mile to check in. Did not offer any service recovery at all and had to walk in the dark at 6 am when leaving to get the car. Staff are under trained and apparently not empowered to provide service recovery for mishaps like that. Unbelievably disappointing for a supposed Disney property. "
