“This is an exceptional hotel with fabulous features. It is five minutes walk from the canal, windmill and nice canal-side restaurant, 15 mins walk to station or center of town. Staff are wonderful.”

“A remarkable little gem of a hotel in Haarlem. The history of the building just adds to the charm and I really appreciated the history lesson while checking in. The original ceiling painting in the reception/breakfast area is beautiful. They’ve done a great job of modernizing the building while maintaining the charm. Do realize that you’re staying in an almost 400 year old building so there are some quirks with stairs but there is a lift to deal with most of those.”

“The location is incredible- just off the Grote Market Square. I had access to everything I needed and wanted. The bed is sooo comfortable and there was no late night noise. Do be aware that the adjacent set of apartments has a door that slams *loudly* but I got used to it.”
