“I had a great stay. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Rooftop infinity pool was perfect, and was a bonus to have all to myself, great view of the mountains and some rice fields blowing in the wind. My room also had a great view of the mountains, large windows even in the bathroom. Great location just outside of town (5 minute grab ride to town) yet very close to some attractions, was a very nice break from the chaos. Wish I stayed longer, but i just used it as a stop……

I was contacted after I made the booking to explain that there had been an overbooking and I was offered to stay at the family’s other homestead just down the road. “This family-owned resort is nestled right up against the majestic limestone karsts of Tam Coc. Great location....outside of the bustling town of Tam Coc, and so it is very quiet and peaceful, and yet just a short walk to town for dining and shopping. Our bungalow was large and comfortable. The bungalows had been recently rebuilt. The family kept to the traditional style and decor, but included many modern improvements, such as efficient air conditioning, insulation, and multiple outlets. ……

“Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side,……

“The room I had was large, very clean and included some nice features like a built in LED temp gauge for shower temp water. Some things I always look for and met my expection included quiet and efficient AC, fridge, safe, comfortable mattress, lots of closets and drawers space. The hotel itself is a beautiful French provincial design with the property right up next to the mountainside with a large pool for swimming and and relaxing. Breakfast menu was average for brunch but included fresh……

“Ngoc is the main reason we loved this place . She is a very nice person despite of Barrier of language. The location is quiet very good view not so far from touristic sites by grab ( 10-15 min) . I recommend it for sure as one the best value for money option in Ninh Binh”

“The hotel is excellent. It's 1.8km from the town city and around 10km from Tam Coc. The town is very safe and well lit. We rented a bike and had no issues at all. There are a few convenience stores around, but you need to go into town for a decent coffee. The hotel manager is excellent and very helpful. Breakfast pho is superb. It is situated next to a field on a quiet road. It is peaceful and very clean. Highly recommended.”
