“We had such a great experience at Colorado River Camping Resort! The cabin had everything we needed, which made our stay feel comfortable and easy from the moment we arrived. It was clean, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We also arrived after hours, and the staff made the check-in process so smooth and stress-free, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The office staff overall were attentive, kind, and made us feel very welcomed.

“Overall, we had a decent stay and appreciated the extra bedroom in the upgraded unit. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The check-in process was a bit confusing, as we weren’t given clear instructions on how to use the smart lock and had to figure it out ourselves. “We were a Red Hat Ladies group of 5 women of a “certain age” who came to Schulenberg to see the Painted Churches. The house was the perfect place for us to stay since it is located just a short distance from the Chamber of Commerce where the tour started! Also, the house is located right across from the police department:). All five of us enjoyed the “Victorian” decor and home.
