“Great location and nice welcome on arrival. Simple and practical, the room we had worked fine although the bed was a little uncomfortable. Small bathroom as you’d expected from a converted residence, but good dining room for breakfast and a microwave to heat up any meals you might bring back to the house after a long day exploring. Owners are not on site so don’t expect hotel concierge service! Everything worked and as a base for travels around Shetland the price is great!”

“Outstanding service and care from the staff- they seem to have a ‘family’ vibe going on
Speciall thanks to manager Jane for local info & taking care of us.
Rooms we saw were spacious and clean
We had a room at the back which was light and quiet- we neede a couple of recovery afternoon kips which were uninterrupted.
Dinner was tasty & of really good quality and variety; breakfasts hearty with healthier/ continental options. 5 stars.
