“A very clean and cozy place! We enjoyed our stay!”

“Our family stayed for an extended weekend in the spring. The cabin is situated in a lovely setting and offers trails on site. The workmanship of the reassembled 1830s log cabin was amazing. All the details were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed several bonfires and grilled over the wood fire with the newly added grill top. The grandkids had fun on the rope swings. The front porch is so large and inviting. The town of Somerset is nearby and had several great restaurants. Also close to Buckeye……

“Host personable and welcoming the property is the best mix of remote and close enough to things to do! Doug thought of everything with this stay! Highly recommended to anyone who wants a house that brings you peace!”

“The photos are outdated and there is a room missing (the theater room does not exist). The standard beds are comfortable; bunks are okay and a little creaky. The kitchen is skim - many basics were either not working or missing. The coffee pot runs slowly and so do the two other alternatives. There were no large bowls, quirky. The photos present a brighter, lighter place from a few versions ago. I booked this for a staff retreat and many said they felt like we go the Temu verison of the listing.”

“the Winery was small and the wine was very good.”

“The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for everyone.”
