“The house was perfect and the area really pretty. Great place to relax and enjoy life. ”

“We all loved this home so very much that we are thinking about already booking for next summer. From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! ”

“This was the perfect place for a retreat with a mix of southern hospitality and the country life not far from civilization. Mitsy and Jason were the best host we’ve had thus far. They do their best to ensure you have fun and relaxing experience with all of the games, ATV and trails as well as the hot tub! You won’t be disappointed we definitely weren’t. Be sure to visit the pigs especially Jolene and her mini Jolene’s and big ole Mac. Lol ask for a conversation with petunia. ”

“There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”

“What a neat lake and community. Loved the quiet and peacefulness.”

“Great place to spend a few days exploring Lake Fork. The cabin is perfect for the boat and close to the ramp. The cabin is cozy and comfortable.”

“This property was awesome. My husband and his buddy caught 4 BASS over 6lbs and 15 smaller BASS and 1 mud cat. The house was so clean we felt like we were the first people to stay there. Great open kitchen with every kind of pot or pan you may need. The island has the trash cans inside a drawer! Coolest thing ever! The guest contact was quick to answer any questions we had at any time we had them. Definitely will be staying again.”

“Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. “I was looking for a few days of weekday retreat and found it. There were a few other guests on the property but it still was quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for an escape from Dallas Fort Worth that's not an all day drive then this is it!”

“Truly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Just a few suggestions. Replace grill grate...the one we used was pretty warped. Rugs needed vacuuming/washed. Cabin had a pretty musty smell. The tub needs a mat asap. Randy fell just turning around in it. Extremely slippery.”
