“Our room was next to the elevator and it was having mechanical issues, it was a Saturday night so the noise ran till early hours in the morning. It would make a loud groan as trying to “boot up” and go for a minute or so then stop. Office staff could not figure out how to “disconnect” the offending car. All rooms booked so could not move us, they were apologetic but might have offered some compensation for the inconvenience.”

“We booked this last minute, and while the location is very nice, the name is a bit misleading. It’s not actually "on the lake". Our “lakefront view” offered only a small glimpse of water in the distance through the trees, and there’s no direct lake access unless you drive through the neighborhood.
