“We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. The breakfast variety was impressive, a large number of western and Indonesia dishes. The gym was well stocked for a hotel gym, they even had free weights. It could do with some painting and modernization. The hotel is on the Ring Road, so it is further from the tourist attractions but also quieter because of……

“I can't say that the hotel is worth the price. The room smells, the windows don't open so there is no ventilation, wi-fi is slow and useless, and the sheets and towels are dirty.”
