"Ocean view room was beautiful "

"Beautiful ocean view from our room and the bathtub captured that view. Very traditional set up for Japanese families and the Onsen was lovely. Being able to sit under a cherry blossom tree in full bloom and look out to the ocean in a hot spring was a true highlight of our trip. Where the property let us down, was that the restaurant was booked out every day and there was no options for vegetarian or any western menu. Luckily there was a full kitchen in our unit so we could cook, however we had to pay ¥400 to borrow cooking facilities which was unusual. The hotel itself is a little tired, wasn’t too clean and much of the property desperately needs updating. My husband and I had a single bed each but our daughter had to sleep on a fold up futon on the tatami mat floor in a room with no ventilation which she didn’t seem to mind. Given the location of property, I think it has a real potential but we wouldn’t stay there again. We would’ve been better in an Airbnb because there was no benefit of being in a hotel apart from the lovely onsen. We noticed that were the only Westerners staying there, so this property clearly only caters for Japanese tourists and not international visitors."

"Yokikan was great. If you're uncertain about staying at a traditional Japanese Onsen hotel, this place is for you. We were given very good advice about what to do or not do, how to use an Onsen etc . If you're unsure about being naked with strangers, we opted for the room with a private onsen. The private onsen was great but it's not the same as a public one. I recommend trying the public one, open air, at least once during your stay. "

"The facilities are great, the staffs were incredible , the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were excellent! Exceptional services and convenient shuttle service - can't ask anymore! Definitely will be back and recommend to others. "

We had breakfast both days we stayed, it was brought to our room, and we were given the choice of Japanese or U.S. traditional style. We had a very nice view of the ocean. There were two private barhs and they were both clean and partially open airbaths "

"I had a pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the driver was also very courteous. One of the highlights was the complimentary drinks available at most times, including alcoholic beverages. While the building and facilities felt a bit dated, the private baths attached to some rooms were absolutely fantastic. The hotel is surrounded by a spacious property, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that made for a relaxing experience. "
