"This beautiful bed-and-breakfast in Boothbay Harbor is conveniently located to the charming downtown area that is filled with shops and restaurants. We loved all the special amenities such as the well stocked kitchen, which we were allowed to use at any time. My husband and I made a Canadian bacon and egg dish for several breakfasts along with baked goods, fresh fruit and juice. I like how you would come home with restaurant leftovers and put your name on the container and put them in the fridge. Then you could heat them up in the kitchen the next day. We did this several times. Our host, Jeremy was very attentive, helpful and had a great sense of humor. We would highly recommend this beautiful bed-and-breakfast."

"The views from this property were stunning! We loved the porch and sunroom. The location was perfect, close enough to town for convenience but remote enough for peace and serenity. I would include in the description that this is a rustic cottage. I think the bathroom sink is original to 1922! Perfectly adequate but a little surprising— the photos are carefully framed so you don’t see the rust and old-fashioned faucets where you get cold water and hot water separately. It was a blast from the past. There were random nails sticking out from the walls. The furniture was a bit uncomfortable. But despite any drawbacks, we LOVED our time in this very special and unique cottage!!"

"The porch/view were lovely. The bathroom could use attention. We received a full roll and partial roll of toilet paper. As far as we could tell, that was all there was for us. We bought a roll of toilet paper just in case. That's the first time we had to do that in a vacation rental. Toilet paper rationing? The handle in the shower was tight and difficult to turn. I have little grip strength in my fingers so it was difficult. I think that could be improved. The bathroom sink drained slowly. On the 3rd day I took out the sink stopper. It was black with goo and long hairs. We both have short hair- this was not our hair. I cleaned it out. The cottage is good on its own and does not need the abundance of beachy decorations. Simpler would be better. The bedroom was ample, with space on both sides of the bed. We liked that. The sheets were nothing special, not crisp or remarkable in any way. The notebook doesn't tell you where the garbage. We did figure that out, only to find a garbage bag in there torn apart by a critter. Not our garbage. Not sure if we would book again."
