“The cabin is amazing! I called the day before we arrived to check on some amenities. The person I spoke with was very friendly and informative about the area. The cabin was super clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the large jetted tub that was not advertised and there was a grill at the cabin that was not advertised as well. Cons- The pool was cold for my liking and the hot tub is small. The front desk person was not at the desk when we arrived. There was a sign……

“This is the third time we have stayed here. We were in love after our first visit. It’s nice to see Skowhegan have a nice new place to stay. We love that they turned an old mill building into a hotel. The rooms are great, plenty of room for my small family of 3. The rooms are bigger than a standard hotel room. Prices have been great also. My only complaint is the TV’s. 2 out of the 3 stays we’ve had trouble with the tv’s they function fine, but they always freeze, we think it could be the wi-fi……

“When we checked in and requested an upper level room for security purposes (we preferred not to have 2 separate entrances into the room), we were rudely told that the hotel was full but found out by checking Expedia at the same time that there was availability at the hotel. We were then told about the no smoking and no vaping rule. However, upon entering our outdated and somewhat raggedy room, the smell of cigarette smoke filled the air. “The property was clean and very quiet. The staffs there were very helpful. We travel as a family leisure trip and the kids loved the pool/ whirlpool. We were 25-30 minutes from all the attraction sites. The only downsides was to have the room service you have to request at the front desk, which we didn’t know until the fourth day our trash was so full.”
