“Our stay at this property exceeded our expectations. The beautiful setting and old grand building were a beautiful site as we arrived. Staff are very helpful in booking reservations ahead of our arrival. Bathroom was fantastic in the family suite with big soaking tub and jets. The dinner at the restaurant was very memorable treat and all staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Both continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast were delicious. “This place was clean, quiet, and safe, and is in a pretty setting near/on estate lands. Very convenient from the highway for access to local tourist spots and Shannon Airport. The hotel is super large and sprawling. It seems to be very popular with young families. At our Expedia rate it was pretty basic in terms of amenities. We took a look at the breakfast, which wasn't included in our rate, and it also seemed basic, so we gave it a pass. Great local bakeries and other spots to choose from……

“Ennis is a beautiful village and Old Ground is right in the middle. Poet's Corner is excellent. My wife said her meal was the best of any meal she had on a 2 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. “Breakfast was next level awesome-- my parents wanted to experience the "full Irish breakfast" before leaving Ireland and the Lady Gregory solidly came through! Each was pleased b/c they had traditional and even a vegan full Irish! Also, we ordered dinner from the restaurant and the food was incredible. Even had the specific whiskey my husband was looking for.”

“Stayed for 3 days in a suite. The apartment had a mini kitchen which was helpful with a 14 month old. Spacious with 2 bedrooms. Beds were very good. The apartment had several bugs. Small spiders and some othrr ones. Breakfast was average. Staff was helpful. Internet was totally unusable. Bathroom/shower fixtures were broken.”
