“It’s a nice property with restaurant/bar. We were a group of four adults. Our room was spacious, however the TV was missing from the wall in the bedroom, the fridge was broken and there were plates/glasses etc for only three people when we booked for four. There was plenty of undercover security parking and the staff were friendly.”

“Room was very small with creaky floors and very noisy overall. Elm balcony room has a shared balcony which wasn’t specified so I had people talking and hanging outside my room and could see inside my room. This is expensive hotel and I would have expected better rooms but given it’s and old building I guess that’s too be expected. Overpriced for what it is. Staff and service were excellent so that was positive. ”

Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better.……

“Lisa at front desk was excellent. Friendly, and accommodated us with a ground floor room and Dining options. Easy parking, enjoyed the pool. The room was excellent. Comfortable Beds, very clean and nice balcony out back for a quiet read. Very nice breakfast in the a.m. to get you started.”
