“Clean room”

“This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very……

“We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay”

“The threat of flash floods colored our stay. Waiting for river to subside before we could get home to roads that required 4wd didnt add to the experience. The house had lots of nice points, like quiet, quaint decor, and comfortable. But it has a touch of unfinished project, the front door required kicking to open( really wet caused swelling). Water coming in bedroom causing large puddles because of door gap. The host was very helpful and happily answered our requests.”

“This was such a gorgeous and perfectly appointed room, I wish I had arrived earlier to watch the sunset from the glorious patio looking west and was able to enjoy the property before I left. I will absolutely be back!”

“We loved this place! Excellent views and location.”

“The only issue was a clogged sink in bathroom which we reported and was never taken care of until our third day. We reported it on our second day at breakfast to our waitress and she said she would take care of it. Unfortunately if she did anything we didn’t see a difference until another delightful lady came back to our room and undid the sink stopper and used a coat hangar to remove gross black crud. It was a nasty dirty job but she happily did it with a smile. My kind of worker. She was well……

“We stayed at Traveler Spirit last night and it was our second Earthship experience. Every time we do this, we fall a little more in love with the lifestyle. The living area and kitchen were our favorite spaces. They felt incredibly cozy, yet the high ceilings made everything feel open and roomy at the same time. It struck that perfect balance between grounded and expansive. The vigas are beautiful and add so much warmth and character to the space. You can feel the intention in the design. It is……

“There are no words to describe our experience at this property. The stars at night in this dark sky territory were incredible. Our host was beyond amazing in communication and accommodation. What a spectacular, peaceful setting. If you’re looking to get away from it all for a respite, this place does not disappoint! I will most certainly be returning. Thank you, Brenda, for hosting us. Ruby, your awesome canine friend, guiding our hike down to the hot springs was an added joyous……

“The condo was very clean and beds were comfortable! All bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. The downstairs bathroom is a half bath. The upstairs bedrooms have portable AC which is all you need in Taos! There were plenty of enmities and supplies. The hosts were easy to contact and we had a wonderful time.”

“We enjoyed this tranquil retreat with ample room and accomodations. Definitely will return in the future!”

“Beautiful location and very comfortable space. Unfortunately we did not receive timely location or check in instructions from owner through VRBO. Manager was helpful but spotty phone service made it difficult. Thank goodness we were there during daylight as it would have been very difficult to locate at night. ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The 360deg view (and sunsets) provided by this property are outstanding.”

“Beautiful, well equipped house in El Prado (rural area with a wide mix of homes just outside of Taos) was within 15-30 min of all activities (hiking, rafting, earthships, Pueblo, shopping, dining) that our family of 4 had planned during our 4 night stay. Our host, Chris was very accommodating and communicative before and during our stay. From the garage/backside of the house, there is now a house that has been built one vacant lot over that wasn’t reflected in the pictures online. Adding a fence……

“This place was great, super clean and welcoming! The host was also super attentive and easy to communicate with.”

“Tammi and Dave were awesome hosts! They gave lots of tips before and during the trip and were quick to respond when we had questions. We even got to meet Dave when he came to take care of the property. The house is beautiful, and we spent a wonderful, unplugged week in the house of dreams. The patios were amazing for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. We're so sad the house is up for sale as it's easily a place we'd love to return to for another getaway. If you get the chance to……

“Truly a magical experience! A remarkable, off grid earthship! Having a hot tub and sauna was awesome! Directions and communication from Anthony were top notch. Go stay and lose yourself in the beauty and quietness of this property!”
