"Great location and great hotel!"

"Check out is good. Check in at 4p could be better. The bathrooms are a terrible modernist attempt with the sliding doors that are not smooth in sliding, don’t close 100%, and shower needs some redesign. There also needs to be more insulation in the walls as you can hear everything in the in the next room. Toilet is too awkward and square for a normal position squatting. There is no overheard light within the room either and the room’s window faces directly to another room’s window."

"The hotel is modern and classy. The location is excellent! We came for Jazz fest and the hotel was close to the concert venues the artists we came to see were playing at. It’s a short walk from the French Quarter and from the bus stops where you can catch the public bus to and from the airport. It’s far enough away from the noise Canal Street and the French Quarter will naturally bring to be quiet yet close enough for convenience. The coffee shop had great coffee and and fast service. Kudos for giving 10% off to Tulanians! The reason for knocking off a star is that our keys kept deactivating every couple of nights of our stay (we stayed 6 nights) and our room did not get cleaned even though we requested for our room to be made up with the front desk per the instructions we received at check in. However, these were minor inconveniences given everything else we liked. We plan to stay again when we return to Jazz fest!"

"Location was ideal! Bus and streetcar stops are just outside of the entryway. Staff was very helpful and so friendly. Homewood Suites made our trip more enjoyable."

"The room was extremely noisy at night. There is no insulation in the walls. People rev their car and motorcycle engines until 4:00 am. I won't stay there again."
