Great place to chill on Lake Rabun
My overall impression is that everything about this house is easy. There is spacious paved drive for parking and minimal steps into the house, so arrival and unpacking is easy. The house is very spacious, the air conditioning works great, and there is a full size washer and dryer just off the kitchen—as well as a substantial pantry which more than makes up for slightly smaller kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is extremely well supplied with good quality pots and pans, serving items, and lots Tupperware. It was easy to cook for a big group. Outside, everything was easy too—it was a level walk to top of boathouse, lots of covered and uncovered space up there so you could get as much sun as you wanted. It is in a narrower/shallower part of the lake but still reasonably easy to get a boat in and out if you follow the instructions provided by the owner. One nice addition outside might be a few chaise lounges in addition to the regular chairs and picnic benches. There is also a nice swing which everyone enjoyed! There were plenty of bath towels, the linens on the beds (especially the king bedroom!) were very nice, and there were some cozy blankets for people that visit during cooler months. All and all our stay was fantastic—highly recommend this rental and the very helpful/friendly owners!
