“I am pretty honest when it comes to hotels and reviews but have to say this is the most beautiful place to stay. Our room had floor to ceiling windows and we could open 3 sides and look into lush nature with a great plunge pool and a fabulous hotel pool.This is stars above anywhere else we stayed in thailand. I dont want to leave a review as I want it to remain a hidden gem! The beautiful setting and one of a kind rooms are very aesthetic with great attention to detail and with the environment...

“We can’t say enough to express how grateful we are to have found Baan Mek Lom. Everything was very clean. We loved the firm mattress and had very good sleep. The best part was the host/owner. No one tried to sell anything, but the minute we needed help, everything was taken care of. P.S. if you are traveling by car, you will have your own parking spot right in front of your cottage. 100% highly recommend this stay.”

“Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Grand Mercure Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang. Das Zimmer war top, alles sehr geräumig und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum war etwas sehrhektisch, wenn man nicht früh oder später kam. Leider gab es nur zwei Kaffeevollautomaten, welche nicht ausreichten für alle Gäste, da diese äußert langsam funktioniert haben. Oft stand man gut 10 Minuten an. Hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf. Ansonsten gibt es unserseits keine negativen Erfahrungen. Das Essen...

“Reservamos la villa con piscina privada y estuvo muy bien. El personal muy amable y nos dieron un late check out el dia de salida. El hotel solamente tiene un restaurante que es un poco caro pero a 5-6 minutos caminando por la larga playa hay restaurantes con buenas opciones. El hotel es familiar pero es muy tranquilo y en una buena zona a 15 mins de Khao Lak village. Totalmente recomendable”

“The hotel needs renovacion...the rooms are stinky, the mainpool closed because of renovacion, as well the breakfast room. Full of chinese people....we booked Deluxe room and we had a room with view to the backside of the hotel and the kitchen. The next day we where complaining because this was not what we payed and expected and they changed us to Hive Hotel - the same stars but a loooooot better!”

“This was a great place to stay for a night and I could see myself staying there for a little longer. The hotel is super clean and new, quiet, has a cool pool and a lovely garden. The staff are nice and friendly. The only slight downside is the area (everything is along a busy 2-3 lane main road) which is common for all hotels and not a particular issue for this one. ”

Was a 400thb taxi ride into bang Niang night market so away from the centre but quiet for us & a short transfer to the pier for the early bird Similan island tour we booked in advance. “We loved our 3 day stay at this beautiful hotel on a lovely beach. The staff were charming and welcoming, especially Phumi. We loved our room overlooking the adult pool and near the beach. Very comfortable beds, good wifi, delicious breakfast. We particularly liked the restaurant on the beach in the evenings. We noticed a very charming children's zone near reception. We would love to return.”

“el hotel necesita una actualizacion, es un edificio moderno pero necesita mucho mantenimiento, da la impresion que han hecho renovaciones pero parciales (rodapie es antiguo). Las toallas de muy mala calidad, viejas para un hotel de esta categoria. El desayuno un sinfin de opciones. El hotel deberia implementar un sistema para que los huespedes no reserven las hamacas de la playa durante horas por la mañana sin estar presentes”

“We stayed here for 2 nights while in Khao Lak. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we were able to check-in a bit earlier as we were moving from our previous location. They also shared tips for Khao Lak and were available when needed. The room was very spacious and clean, looked very new as well (we were staying at Seashell house which is located 3 min walking from the main property). The area around is lively and full of shops and restaurants, as well as conveniently close to the beach....
