Cozy Collins Home- Close to DOWNTOWN!

Come stay in this newly renovated historical second- story home. While having a touch of new, many of the original touches were preserved, giving you that cozy feeling you are looking for in a nice get away to rest and visit Home Town Laurel. After a comfortable nights sleep on our memory foam queen size bed, enjoy a nice cup of coffee in our sunroom. Just a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown as well as many of the homes renovated by Ben and Erin's Hometown show on HGTV. To help with your stay we will have maps and a guide to all the fun to do's in downtown Laurel. This is a 2nd story duplex, the entire upstairs unit is for guests with private entrance.
Please note: we live on the bottom floor with small children and it can get a little noisy, a sound machine and ear plugs are provided, and we promise to be as respectful of your visit as possible.

Laurel trip
When we arrived the check in instructions were as stated and in a quiet neighborhood. We were surprised to find a for sale sign in the front yard and the hosts no longer lived on the 1st floor as described in the VRBO listing (found that out when we read the real estate listing and the bottom residence was rented to a long term renter). Might want to update the VRBO description. The unit was large and open and the back screened in porch was nice to soak up the sun. If continued to be rented out, suggestions would be having luggage racks in the rooms to set luggage on, electrical strip to have additional plug ins for the back bedroom due to only one and there wasn’t a bedside table to place items on (many people travel with CPap machines) and sheets need to be upgraded.

Cozy Collins is properly named as it is a very cozy property although it is very spacious. The farmhouse decor was very nice and the amenities exactly what was needed. I will stay at Cozy Collins again.

We were only there for two nights. We were pleased with the accommodations. The neighborhood was very quiet and It was only 5 minutes to town. If I ever go to Laurel again I would definitely stay here. We were visiting from Pennsylvania.

Great Getaway
The property was perfect for a quick overnight trip to Laurel. It was very clean, well furnished & perfect for us three ladies. There is a slender stairwell to access the upstairs unit and it was a little further than walking distance to the downtown area for us. The host was easy to contact & even agreed to allow us to check in early. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is a 1920s build, so it has the charm (love the remodel & decor) and challenges (drafty, electrical outlets in odd places) as such. The space is set up very comfortably to meet all our needs and well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The location is in an old, established neighborhood where it looks like people are working hard to restore and keep their properties clean. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
