"We loved our stay at Sheepdown. The country side is beautiful and the cottage looks out over ‘green and pleasant’ land. It is quiet, restful and tasteful, yet an easy walk to gorgeous Petworth village with all its amenities and to wonderful Petworth House and Park. We found it a perfect location from which to explore the wonders of gorgeous West Sussex. Sheepdown is a warm and inviting cottage with a glorious, old world charm, but with the added advantage of every modern amenity. The cottage is tastefully decorated and appointed and yet its cosy ambiance makes you feel ‘at home’. We loved our stay here and plan to one day, hopefully return."

"Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "

"The Shepherds Hut was fantastic. Friday night was great. Romantic as we wanted. Very cosy!Saturday night was ruined somewhat. A couple of power cuts forced a move to a larger accommodation, although good, lost the tranquility of the Shepherds Hut. Neither of us slept very well, both finding the bed in the new accommodation most uncomfortable!We left Westerland @ 1000 am, both wanting to get on with the rest of our weekend."
