"Tamarack is a historic lodge that maintains much of its quaintness in a lovely setting. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast quite decent. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant has a pricey, rather limited menu. Expensive drinks and live music in front of the cozy lodge fireplace take advantage of the historic ambiance. It's a great place to stay."

"This is a pet free hotel right in the heart of the North Village. There are lots of food options on the same side of the street right next door and for a few blocks (including Schatz Bakery about a five minute walk away). The staff are super friendly and there is underground parking."
