Check-in process was frustrating. Parking is limited. There was trash in my room left from a previous guest. They advertise a beach shuttle but make sure if you’re not getting picked up at a specific time that you call early, they don’t always answer the phone or check their voicemail. Then when the front desk employee finally picked up the phone, she said another couple had just called and she’d pick me up next, and while I was still talking she hung up on me so I ended up just walking back. My last day there, another employee tried to make me squeeze onto the shuttle with another couple, I said everyone else has made us ride separately and I don’t mind waiting, she said ok, but then when she got back she said she had to hand wash a huge stack of dishes before we left?!
The beach chair they gave me was dirty and the pillow had black mold growing on it. The breakfast was ok but it starts late at 0800. Happy hour includes things like Natural Light beer. It’s a bit dingy, grimy, and rundown; my bathroom shelf was totally falling off the wall. There’s like no counter space either. There was a lot of accumulated filth around the door etc. (pics). The alarm clock just wasn’t plugged in which was weird and annoying, why even leave it there with no accessible plug? They use the super cheap, single-use motel toiletries so I’d bring your own. You can hear everything in the hallways and people just stood outside my room talking. I would not stay here again or recommend staying here.
