“When we arrived to the property there was a sign on the door that said they had limited availability due to being under construction. However the area felt unsafe the manager did state they had no rooms available. That it was a system error on behalf Expedia she did not understand why they allowed me to book. “Great location for visiting Lackland AFB during our son’s Basic Training—very convenient and close to Riverwalk. The area itself is a bit rough and not our usual preference, as we typically lean toward Hill Country stays.Guests should be aware that dogs and chickens can be noisy, trains pass at night, the master bedroom is a walk-through without a lock, and a caretaker family lives on the grounds.
