"My wife and I stayed at the property for 3 nights for a little honeymoon. I messaged to ask the property to let them know we had just been married and asked if they could recommend any nearby activities twice… I was ignored and they didn’t even mention it when we were there. The staff were nice and the room was reasonably clean but unfortunately there were a lot of issues. We could not use data from our room as we had no signal and the wifi in the room would drop every few minutes so streaming anything or working was impossible. The bathroom was a little rusted and very dated and our toilet flush was broken when we arrived. The restaurant food was disappointing and we didn’t eat there again after the first night. The pool was a main selling point for us and whilst it is very nice, I had to try 10 different lockers in the changing room to find one without a broken lock. I asked another customer if I was crazy as nothing would work and he said that’s just how it is. Unfortunately it was mostly disappointing and we wouldn’t stay again. "

"Plenty of parking, great welcoming staff who changed our room as my husband had hurt his back & required a firmer mattress - nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfasts, best we've had in a long while. The only issue we had was coming in at night after the event we had gone to see. the floors are so very creaky & even though we tried our best to be quiet for other guests they still made loads of noise!"

"The hotel was run down, we checked in went to order a meal and was told the only thing left on the menu was a turkey roast dinner. The spa was a joke. the bedroom, had no working bed side lights or phone charging sockets. the TV did not have BBC!!! Not a good stay. I don't know how the room rate was justified, i feel let down as i use Hotel.com all the time and don't expect to find a hotel as bad as this on your web site. Unhappy Stuart"

"Perfect location, beautiful property with great amenities. Staff were polite and very helpful. Room was tastefully furnished. Shower was hot and powerful. Cleaning staff arrived promptly and did an excellent job. Only minor criticism was cooked breakfast was served whilst I was eating first course which meant I had to eat quickly or risk food being cold. That said, food was delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"The room had a couple of cleanliness issues,also looking out of our room window there was a great big container not great. Also breakfast was a bit of a let down,the size of my husband's full Welsh breakfast was smaller the 2nd morning,loads of mushrooms,2 halves of tomatoe on 2nd breakfast about 4 bits of mushrooms and 1 halves of tomato"

"We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We found the staff every helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The bar was quiet and not expensive. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again if in the area. Thank you"
