“We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a pitstop, and what a find! We originally planned for one night but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay to two. Olivia was great, she was welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel accommodated, the zip wire, archery and axe throwing activities were great fun for our children. “Lovely place to stay for a night in Glasbury. Dinner and breakfast both great.”

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“Hotel reception manager was lovely and helpful during our stay. Room was okay, average and clean enough - though it had a smell (possibly from the bathroom) when we entered so we aired the room out. Downside was how thin the walls were / how loud the other guests were on a Saturday night. The noises kept us up from late evening to around 2am.”

“We spent a lovely night at the B and B. Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug. “What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. “Excellent staff. We were delayed by bad weather and arrived late, just as the chef told reception that he’d finished service. He immediately asked what we’d like to eat and prepared us a great dinner. The general manager and breakfast waitress were also very helpful and friendly. ”
