“We just stated the one night in a quad room and we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer as it is small. But it was ok for a stopover only. The hotel accommodation itself is quite dated and in need of refurb. It was noisy from the campsite behind the hotel at night so couldn't really sleep with windows open. The staff were friendly and helpful and we ate in the restaurant at night and the food was lovely if not quite pricey. Stunning location however and lovely for watching the sun go down across……
“Perfect kings room, staff is very helpful and patient even experiencing massive power outage due to the severe storm. Breakfast is very nice and offers good grab and go breakfast.”
“Carol and Andrew were AMAZING. Absolutely lovely hosts and the cottage was stunning. When we were trying to locate the cottage Carol immediately hopped on a video call to help us. I’d happily stay here again.”
“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
“This hotel oozed uniqueness. It has many lovely aspects, especially the Staff. We were very impressed with the help of Gillian, her daughters, and Matti, although there were many others who were of great assistance during our stay.
The food here is truly memorable. Every meal is a wonderful feast. The sitting room and superb grounds are everything you’d imagine in a destination Country Inn.”
