This is listed as a 5 Star property. Having stayed at many 5 Star hotels this hotel does not meet those standards. Parking is nonexistent. You have to hail a cab. Non are kept in reserve as is done at other 5 stars. No executive car. You will need to work out any travel. We had the larger Studio room. This is a newly renovated hotel so all appointments were new. That said the couch in the room had a large soiled spot. The bathroom is small. One sink and zero power points. The lighting is very bad. If you are needing to apply makeup you need to use the mirror at the entrance. With no power you will need to use a hairdryer with at least a six foot cord. Plugged in a $300 hairdryer and it fried it. We stayed for 9 nights and only received a full complement of towels on half of those. The room has a fan that cannot be turned off. The shower is small and the water pressure is very low. The elevator broke down on day and all were using a single lift which are small. 4 persons is very tight. The concierge service is similar to a 3 star Don’t expect any proactive support from any staff member. Ordering a cup of coffee is almost impossible. The staff had zero understanding of drip or brewed coffee. Had to order an Americano and hot water and then mix to make coffee. The staff are nice but not attentive. I took the opportunity to visit a few other 5 star hotels in the area and was greeted like royalty at each with several offers to help. Not here
