INFESTED. I woke up with bug bites on my body two nights in a row. On the final morning we found a TICK on my pillow. I have a total of 8 bite marks from this tick, I’ve had to purchase antibiotics and took myself to the NHS for an exam in hopes that I don’t develop any further illness. When I went to the front desk to tell them of the situation they stated they would “look into” it and just checked me out of the hotel. They said if I had the window open at any time then any bugs are likely to come into the room… and it’s not their fault. I’m sorry but that is an absurd statement, especially since the window was OPEN when we first checked into the room, and we were on the 3rd floor. I am still waiting to hear back from Expedia on this HORRIBLE experience, and have still not received compensation of any form or help from the hotel or Expedia. I have collected all of my medical expenses thus far and will be getting a legal help since Expedia has not been able to rectify this. This hotel is run down. There is paint chipping off the walls, furniture is very old and stained, tv looked like a small computer screen that DID NOT WORK. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, STAY AWAY.

This place was pretty bad, run more like a hostel not a hotel, although you can see the efforts to make it tidy the room was really disappointing, the tv was mounted to high to watch from the bed, and that was the only opting to watch from as the room was only just bigger than that. There was no USB option to charge so left having to buy travel adaptor. The bathroom still had fruit stickers on the wall when we got there and still there when we left, so picking cleaning was optional, the sink drain was blocked with a toothpaste cap which was a challenge, vanity lights were missing too. The mattress looked to be new, sheets and towels were new and clean so that’s positive. It wasn’t the cheapest option so expected better.

Very convenient location just minutes away from Hyde Park. There's also a laundromat next door and some cute restaurants in the same street. The Lancaster tube station and bus stops are really close by walking so it was easy to get around downtown. The rooms were very small - I stayed with a friend and we could barely walk around the room together. It was clean though, and the staff was friendly enough. No breakfast available but they offered a food delivery service to your room.

The owner and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They were very accommodating when we wanted to change rooms. Definitely a great location!
