This is an update to a review I posted on day one of my trip. When we first checked in, the front desk at the resort had moved us to a different, lower quality, section of the resort. Thank goodness for the friendly, amazing staff at Guest Services! Aris and Angelica, saved our vacation! Angelica, the Expedia concierge, was amazing in helping to sort out our room. She kept in contact with us via Whatsapp throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well with our stay. Angelica went above and beyond!
As far as the resort goes, this place is MASSIVE!! Easy to get lost, even with maps and signs everywhere. Be prepared to walk a lot, up and down many stairs as the resort is built on a hill overseeing the ocean. The view is spectacular! As for the amenities, there are so many but unless you’re a VIP member, you only get access to about a third of them. Only 1 free hour of wifi a day for non members or unless you pay for it, no complementary safe for non members, and the two buffets available to non members were very underwhelming. Non members also don’t have access to the coffee shop or ice cream shop, which was a bummer. The a la cart restaurants, if you can secure reservations, that we were able to get into were delicious! Over all, for the right price, we would return.
